The Sellwood Bridge contractor is working on punch list and erosion control tasks as construction wraps up.
West Side Trail Bridge: On February 23, the bridge that connects the west side regional trail with the south sidewalk of the Sellwood Bridge opened for public use. The bridge travels under the west end of the Sellwood Bridge.
Bridge Sidewalks: On weekdays from February 27 to March 10 workers will use a snooper manlift on the bridge sidewalks to perform work on the structure below the deck. Bicyclists and pedestrians will follow a short-detour around the manlift. Work will begin on the south sidewalk, then shift to the north. A second snooper will be in use on the sidewalks the week of February 27-March 3.
WEST SIDE WORK
Interchange: Fence and sign work wraps up this week. Electrical work is next week.
On the Ground: Work on fencing and signs is wrapping up. Next week will focus on grading and electrical work.
Powers Marine Park: The contractor is doing some final work in the park south of the bridge. Portland Parks and Recreation plan to reopen the park for public use in the next month.
Bridge: Next week the contractor will be patching concrete, cleaning, performing steel and coating touch up, fence adjustment, and electrical work.
EAST SIDE WORK
East Bridge Approach and Ground: Fence work wraps up this week. Electrical work is next week.
Tacoma & 6th Signal: The City of Portland plans to change the phasing of the signal before spring break to provide more time to the primary east/west traffic movement on Tacoma St.

Weekday work hours are typically 7 am to 5 pm weekdays. No weekend work is scheduled.
