September 17, 2007 On September 17th the CTF members agreed to recommend the following alternatives to the PAG for their concurrence or revisions (during the PAG's October 1st meeting). Recommended alternatives are: Yellow center alignment rehabilitation with a two lane cross-section (L, 57 feet wide) and signal at the west end Yellow south replacement alignment with a two lane cross-section (C, 64 feet wide) and signal at the west end Purple replacement alignment with a three lane cross-section (modified version of K, 57 feet wide on the top for vehicles and 20 foot wide lower deck for bike/peds only) and signal at the west end Teal-Pink hybrid replacement, which would combine the Pink alignment on the east side with Teal on the west side, alignment with a four lane cross-section (D, 75 feet wide, two lanes for autos and two lanes for transit only) and signal at the west end More information is provided in the Alternatives Recommended for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement Memo and the Meeting Notes from the September 17 CTF meeting, which will be added soon.

July 9, 2007 These materials include a large amount of data and findings, including information on estimated costs for the different alternatives. Please note that cost estimates are for the 75 year life-cycle of each alternative. The CTF chose evaluation criteria that focus on life-cycle cost rather than construction cost alone. Estimates are in 2012 dollars. Cost estimates include: Construction unit costs Right of Way (including relocations) Engineering (design and construction phases) Maintenance (for 75 years)
